Would You Take This Job?
Would you do remote customer-service work with flexible shifts and a starting wage of $13–$16.35/hr, given the internet and workspace requirements? Why or why not?

I did a similar remote CSR role and a personal cheat sheet of common fixes/policies saved me tons of time. If you consider it, ask upfront about schedule bidding and weekend rotation, plus AHT/QA targets so there are no surprises.

I did a stint with TTEC on a healthcare client - training was solid but they were strict on schedule adherence and after‑call work (we had about 30 seconds of wrap), so a text expander for verification lines and common resolutions saved me. If you’re considering it, ask whether the program runs true back‑to‑back calls and if they require hard‑wired ethernet; both change the day-to-day a lot.

I’d consider it if the client’s queue and metrics are clear, since I’ve handled 30‑sec wrap before with hotkeys and a quick cheat sheet. The pay’s on the low side for Austin, so I’d want confirmed schedule bidding, weekend rotation details, paid training, and whether equipment or a tech stipend is provided. As a 6–12 month stepping stone, it seems fine if those boxes are checked.

Ask if they allow dual monitors — cut my AHT about 20% at a similar client. Equipment stipend? :laptop:.
