Shortcut snippets that still feel human

But i’m juggling 6–8 chats at once and want to speed things up without sounding canned; any favorite tools or templates for quick personalization? I’m in Zendesk and currently rely on slash macros and a TextExpander set; happy to trade my snippet format if you’re open to sharing yours.

Use Liquid + placeholders in macros: “Hi {{ticket.requester.first_name}}, quick q: X?” https://support.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/4408889196698; want my TextExpander choice set?

TextExpander fill-ins with dropdown tone; in Zendesk, open with “Noticed you tried X — still blocking you?” Don’t overstuff. @amelia_mar89.

I got faster by adding a tiny custom text field in Zendesk for “customer goal” and wiring a macro to drop it into the first line. Example: “Quick recap: you’re trying to {{ticket.ticket_field_XXXXX}} — still right?” so it’s one 2‑second fill that feels personal while juggling 6–8 chats. Small caveat: if the field’s blank, the macro falls flat — want my field/macro mapping?

When I’m juggling 6–8 chats in Zendesk, I copy a 3–5 word fragment from the customer and fire a TextExpander snippet that drops the clipboard into the opener, e.g., “Re: %clipboard — here’s what I’d try.” Pairs well with a slim slash macro that just adds structure; small caveat: if the clipboard’s messy, trim before expanding… Want the exact TE snippet?
